As the official DJ for Park City's Sun Dance Film Festival, I was sponsored by T-Mobile and Stanton. A versatile DJ and champion of various music genres, I was responsible for bringing the first ever reggaeton artist to Salt Lake City; Nicky Jam. Upon moving back to Los Angeles in 2007, I was invited to hold residencies and special performances at venues and nightclubs from Los Angeles to Las Vegas including Club Rio, Forbidden City, Highlands, Ivar, Arena, Florentine Gardens, Knitting Factory, Level 3, Avalon, Spider, Grand Ave, Vertigos, Mayan, Opus, 740, Camacho's, Minx, and many others.
In 2008, I launched as an international artist with summer performances in Ecuador, including the Roto Fest 2008 and Qube. 2008 was also the year I established myself as a token of the fashion industry. I was among an exclusive roster of talent invited to perform at both the internationally-raved Young Hollywood Mansion Party during Los Angeles Fashion Week Fall ‘08 and the Seventeen Magazine-sponsored re(Define) (Real)ity™ Fashion & Music Show featuring Ed Hardy, Christian Audigier’s Paco Chicano, among other exclusive brands during Los Angeles Fashion Week Spring ’09.
Many will recognized and remember me as DJ Hectic. Now, you can me find me in the scene as Hector Vibes.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. At the age of 16, I picked up his first vinyl and began practicing in my bedroom. An original enthusiast of House, I since expanded my repertoire and skills to include electro, Hip Hop, reggeaton, rock, and 80’s among other genres. My bedroom freestyle mixing/blending eventually evolved into backyard boogies, private events, and the nightclub scene.
In 2005, I relocated to Salt Lake City where my skills were quickly recognized in the DJ scene. I worked with local radio stations and was a resident at the hippest nightclubs in Salt Lake City including Hotel, Sky Bar, Club Vortex, Club Manhattan, among others.
